Granada Once the center of Nasrid Emirate, is now the capital city of Granada Province, in the autonomous region of Andalucía, is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Granada’s most notable district is Albaicín, which has retained the narrow winding streets of its Medieval Moorish past dating back to the Zirid dynasty.
